The Santa Margarita Gun Club is pleased to announce the introduction of our own new shooting awards, “The SMGC Award Pins”. These pins come in Gold, Silver and Bronze. They are awarded to competitors based upon the qualifying score one must shoot during a 20 shot match during a club, approved or registered match/tournament. The qualifying scores are based upon a shooters current qualification (i.e. Classification such as Marksman, Sharpshooter, Expert, Master and High Master).
Forewarning they are not going to be easy to get, a very high standard is set to earn these pins; however, the purpose of these awards it to recognize “Outstanding Marksmanship” during one any of these matches. Check the club’s web site for further description of the qualifying scores one has to shoot in order to earn these pins. The September Regional Match will be the Inaugural Event for “The SMGC Award Pins” to be earned at. We look forward to seeing you at the range.
