Santa Margarita Gun Club will host a precision rifle match at R214 aboard Camp Pendleton. This style of match consists of shooters firing rifles at reactive steel targets ranging from 110-1000 meters from various challenging positions and props under time constraints. This is a fast-paced exciting venue that challenges shooting fundamentals, target acquisition, time management, and critical thinking. The match will allow participants to put their training to the test and is sure to challenge even the most experienced shooters.
Round count for this match is 60-80 rifle rounds
Shooters of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to attend this event. Experienced shooters will be on-hand to help coach and instruct new shooters and run the stages at the match.
General Information:
SHOOTERS MUST ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 0830 DAY OF THE MATCH TO PARTICIPATE.
ALL SHOOTERS REQUIRING BASE ACCESS MUST BE US CITIZENS OR GREEN CARD HOLDERS, WILL NEED TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND PHYSICALLY GO TO THE CAMP PENDLETON CONTRACTORS SECURITY CENTER AT THE LAS PULGAS GATE (THURS preceding the match) AND RETRIEVE THEIR VISITORS PASS UPON APPROVAL. NO ESCORTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT TO THE VISITORS CENTER PRIOR TO THE MATCH YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE BASE.
