DESCRIPTION:https://practiscore.com/smgc-carbine-match-january-19/register \nSunday January 19th Santa Margarita Gun Club will host a carbine practical rifle match at R218A aboard Camp Pendleton. This style of match consists of shooters firing AR15 and M4s rifles and pistols at reactive steel targets ranging from 70-600 yards for rifles and 7-25 yards for pistol from various challenging positions and props under time constraints. This is a fast-paced exciting venue that challenges shooting fundamentals\, target acquisition\, time management\, and critical thinking. The match will allow participants to put their training to the test and is sure to challenge even the most experienced shooters.\nShooters of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to attend this event. Experienced shooters will be on-hand to help coach and instruct new shooters and run the stages at the match. \nGeneral Information: \nSHOOTERS MUST ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 0730 DAY OF THE MATCH TO PARTICIPATE. \nALL SHOOTERS REQUIRING BASE ACCESS MUST BE US CITIZENS OR GREEN CARD HOLDERS\, WILL NEED TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND PHYSICALLY GO TO THE CAMP PENDLETON VISITORS CENTER (MON-FRI) AND RETRIEVE THEIR VISITORS PASS UPON APPROVAL. NO ESCORTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. DESCRIPTION:We are running another match on R216 under MCCS Recreational Shooting on December 1.  Start time is 8 am.  This will be another NRA Approved match.\n\nSign up is available thru Practiscore: https://practiscore.com/smgc-nra-2700-point-pistol-match-dec-1/register\n\nFees are $20 Military\, $30 SMGC Annual Members\, and $45 for Non-SMGC members.  We will limit the registrations to 11 shooters in order to accomodate the range width.\n\nWe will be shooting 3 targets per shooter to minimize interruptions with MCCS operations.  With this plan\, you will have a 30 minute block time to shoot your slow fire.  Timed and rapid fire will be the normal sequence and time\, just on a succession of three targets to minimize interuption and cease fires.  After each sequence is fired we will score and reface the targets.\n\n\n\n\nMike Jones
