DESCRIPTION:This style of match consists of shooters firing rifles at reactive steel targets ranging from 110-1000 meters from various challenging positions and props under time constraints. This is a fast-paced exciting venue that challenges shooting fundamentals\, target acquisition\, time management\, and critical thinking. The match will allow participants to put their training to the test and is sure to challenge even the most experienced shooters. \nRound count for this match is 60-80 rifle rounds \nShooters of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to attend this event. Experienced shooters will be on-hand to help coach and instruct new shooters and run the stages at the match. \nGeneral Information: \nSHOOTERS MUST ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 0830 DAY OF THE MATCH TO PARTICIPATE. \nALL SHOOTERS REQUIRING BASE ACCESS MUST BE US CITIZENS OR GREEN CARD HOLDERS\, WILL NEED TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND PHYSICALLY GO TO THE CAMP PENDLETON CONTRACTORS SECURITY CENTER AT THE LAS PULGAS GATE (THURS preceding the match) AND RETRIEVE THEIR VISITORS PASS UPON APPROVAL. DESCRIPTION:Match starts: March 15\, 2020 @ 8:00 AM · Match ends: March 15\, 2020 @ 2:00 PM \nLocation:\nRange 218A\ncamp pendleton\, CA 92055 \nSunday March 15 Santa Margarita Gun Club will host a long-range practical precision/carbine rifle match at R218A aboard Camp Pendleton. This style of match consists of shooters firing rifles at reactive steel targets ranging from 150-1100 yards from various challenging positions and props under time constraints. This is a fast-paced exciting venue that challenges shooting fundamentals\, target acquisition\, time management\, and critical thinking. The match will allow participants to put their training to the test and is sure to challenge even the most experienced shooters. \nAllowed rifle classes are as follows:\nTactical Precision: (intended for military bolt guns\, DMRs)\n-.223 or .308 caliber\n-No optic restrictions\n-Bipod allowed\n-1x bag allowed per stage \nOpen Precision (intended for PRS guns)\n-No caliber restrictions\n-No optic restrictions\n-No bag or bipod restrictions \nCarbine (intended for issued rifles and personally owned carbines)\n-5.56\, 5.45\, etc.\n-Maximum (1) optic\n-No bipods or tripods allowed\n-1x bag allowed per stage \nShooters of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to attend this event. This clinic consists of shooters firing rifles at reactive steel targets ranging from 150-900 meters from various challenging positions and props under time constraints.
