SAFETY MANAGER Specialty contractor seeking a motivated professional with a desire to join our team. We are an industry leader and strive to be the contractor of choice within our marketplace. The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President and will be a highly motivated, detail oriented individual to champion the following: - Formulate and implement Safety Program systems and processes.
- Identify potential hazards and unsafe work practices at project locations
- Maintain compliance with local, state and federal OSHA regulations
- Develop and maintain safety manuals
- Monitor and promote weekly on-site safety inspections
- Provide and ensure a proactive approach to risk management and loss prevention
- Develop and maintain Company safety goals through activities related to employee training, job safety analysis and safe work practices development
- Conduct Accident/Incident investigations
- Organizes Safety exhibits and materials for display and promotional work
- Ensure a proactive approach to risk management and loss prevention.
| Prerequisites for this position include: - Bachelors degree preferably in a Safety Program
- 6-10 years related experience in the construction industry
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation and facilitations skills.
- Computer Literacy
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations.
