The following video footage was recorded during the February 28th 80XTC match and shows Dennis DeMille (Match Winner with 796-39x) during his 200 yard rapid fire sitting stage (200 yard sitting score of 200-14x).
The SMGC will allow active duty military to shoot this weekend at a $5 per day rate in order to provide a practice venue for the Western Divisional Matches.
The Saturday Course of Fire may be slightly modified on the day of the match.
Assuming enough military shooters show up on Saturday (02/27) who want to practice 200/300/500 yards on the 5V target in preparation for the Western Divisional Matches, the course of fire will be modified as follows:
Live fire will begin at 200 yards using 5V targets for the respective military participants.
Shooters will move back to the 300 yard line at which point the Mid-Range prone participants will begin shooting (Mid-Range 300/500/600 begins). Military shooters who want to use 5V targets will do so on the 300 yard line.
Shooters will move back to the 500 yard line and it will function just like the 300 yard line. MR participants will shoot as normal, military on the 5V (if desired).
Shooters will then move back to the 600 yard line to complete the 600 yard stage of fire for the MR match. Military shooters may opt to fire at the 600 yard line (if desired).
The Sunday Across the Course Course of Fire will remain 80 rounds, 200/300/600.
