IMPORTANT: Any non-military ID carrying participants must pre-register at least 72 hours prior to the date of an event in order to ensure clearance at the base gate(s). While you need to fill out the hardcopy paper match registration (via the PDF document), you may pre-register electronically via the contact form on the Contacts Page.

You do not have to pre-register electronically if you mailed in a hardcopy registration form (along with payment) to the SMGC PO Box address at least ten (10) days prior to the match date.

Note that since the SMGC matches are held at shooting range facilities on a USMC military installation, there is the small chance that a match can be canceled or preempted by the Marine Corps for official business. In order to stay alert of any last-minute cancellations of a SMGC match event, always check the SMGC website for “Match Alerts” on the main page.
